Exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1863, Mene listed this piece as number 16 in his catalogue under the title <i>Jockey a cheval</i>.<br/>Illustrated: Horswell, Jane. <i>Bronze Sculpture of "Les Animaliers."</i> Suffolk, The Antique Collectors' Club. 1971.
