Description:

Cambridgeshire Stakes, 1850 Established in 1839 at Newmarket, the 1850 Cambridgeshire was won by Mr. Gratwicke’s Landgrave with Jem Chapple up. Landgrave was by Sir Hercules, out of The Landgravine. Chapple did not have much passion for racing, despite having won the Epsom Derby twice and the Epsom Oaks on another occasion.
